Thanks to its trajectory over time and its current fleet of industrial purse seiners, our company now fishes 50 thousand tons per year of jack mackerel from the South Pacific. In addition to this production, 50,000 tons of sardines and anchovies are produced with the collaboration of artisanal fishermen, directly impacting sustainable development, the professionalization of artisanal fishing in Chile and its communities. They are subsequently processed and marketed as flours, oils, and frozen products in the domestic and international markets.

Isla Quihua Industries S.A.

Since its acquisition in 2004, this plant located in the city of Lota, is a great contribution to Alimar in the processing and production of fishmeal and fish oil, under the highest quality standards. This allows today an annual average production of 20 thousand tons of fishmeal and 7 thousand tons of fish oil. At the same time, it is a contribution to the development of the productive chain in the area.
